Dv Valve location

Can any one help I need to find dv valve so I can Connect my boost gauge hose up on my Audi A3 sline is it at back of engine or front
 
I think it's at the back of engine m8 if it's the same as the 1.8tfsi. Bit of a pitta to get to if I'm rite..
 
Thanks mate I was going to get it up on ramps today and have a look may be easy from bottom of car do u think
 
Surely for true boost pressure you would want to go straight into the inlet manifold? And also a lot easier for access?
 
I drilled a 7mm hole in the plastic inlet and tapped brake nipple into it then took the vacuum hose straight into to back of a mechanical boost gauge.
 
I might be a bit late to save you some hassle. But the divertor valve on the 2.0 and 1.8 tfsi engines is electrically operated not vacuum, so no hose to connect your boost gauge too anyway.
 
Thanks but it says that kit is only 08 on wards and mine is 05 so is there any body near Tunbridge wells that can help out or give me some clue as had this in car now for s couple of months and just want it working
 
they do them for the 05 aswell
just search round the net you will find one to fit
 
yes very
they fit in the end of the intake mani where the pcv pipe fits
remove pipe fit new part refit pipe to end of new part
fit the gauge pipe sorted
