Hi guys,
Thought it was about time I posted some pictures of my Phantom Black B8 S4 Avant.
The S4 has pretty much all the desirable options you would want including full Audi Drive Select + Sports Diff, Super Sports Seats, B+O stereo, Tech Pack High 3G, Bluetooth etc.
Car has had many modifications including:
Interior
RS5 Flat Bottom Steering wheel
S-Tronic Shifter
RS5 brush aluminium peddles
Trups Interior LED Kit
Carbon Dipped Interior
Exterior
New 9.5" Wide Concave wheels and Goodyear F1 AS2 tyres
Car Lowered on KW Height Adjustable Springs
Carbon front splitter
RS4 style grill
Carbon Rear Diffuser
LED's all round
Ice White Fogs
Facelift LED rear lights fitted, wired and coded in.
Fitment of Quad Stainless Steel Exhaust system from Scorpion Exhaust Systems (very good!). Car should have come like this as standard!
Carbon Front Lip
Carbon Rear Diffuser
Carbon Supercharged Badges
Electronics
Updated Navigation to latest 2014 Maps
Added full 7 digit post code support.
VagCom Tweaks
Car has also had the MRC Stage 2 tune and goes like stink - it would decimate my old B7 RS4.
Probably one of the quickest cars I have owned; but it is heavy which you can feel.
I still think the RS4 was probably a more fun car with the v8 and the better out of the box handling, but as an overall daily car the S4 is close to perfect and way better on fuel then the RS4!
I was planning on taking some decent pictures but with the bad weather and the fact it gets dark early these are the best I can get for now.
These pictures were taken pretty much straight after the car was lowered; it has been about 10 days since the lowering and the car has dropped a fair bit - the rear wheels are pretty much inside the arches and the fronts have less then a finger gap- it looks lovely but being realistic I am going to have to raise it up a little - I have to take speed bumps really really slowly at the moment. I am planning finalizing the heights this this week and then take it for a geometry adjustment next week.
Overall very pleased with the car and many thanks to Trups for all the advice and the LEDs he supplied.
