Selling my MK7 Golf GTI Performance, after nothing but problems with it.

Ordered on Saturday
S3 Saloon Manual
Sepang Blue
Super Sports Seats
Hill hold assist
Sat Nav
Internal Lighting pack
Extended Mono.pur internal finish
Parking System plus
Bang & Olufsen Sound system

Should arrive March/April.

Nice but I'd ditch the Hold Assist and Parking System Plus and put the £685 saved towards the Tech Pack if I were in your shoes.
 
Actually scratch that - I'd swap the Parking Plus for the Comfort Pack but still go for the Tech Pack on top of that.
 
Parking System plus is only £250 if you have the comfort pack @ £605 which gives you:

Cruise control, Auto-dimming rear-view mirror, Light and rain sensor package and Windscreen with sunband and acoustic glass (Double/acoustic glazing dampens exterior noise, provides safety in the event of broken glass and blocks UV radiation).

Parking System plus on it's own = £605 or with all the above £855.
 
Yeah taking Parking Plus instead of the Comfort Pack is basically swapping the dimming rear view mirror and rain sensor for front parking sensors - utterly bonkers if you ask me.

At the very least swap this over to the Comfort Pack - it's far far better value. Rear sensors are handy on the saloon, I'll grant that, but the front ones are a waste of time and money.
 
BTW not dissing your spec/choices at all - superb motor, just that one option needs altering IMO :)
 
TBH I was going for the rear parking sensors on their own until the salesman pointed out the comfort pack etc. I then thought that the £250 was worth the extra to cover the front end of the car and also have the visual parking aid on the mmi display on top of the audio alert. It's only has to save the front from one scrape on a low wall etc. and it's paid for itself.
 
Yeah I guess the £250 on top of the comfort pack to add the front sensors is subjective and opinions/requirements will differ. The main thing I'm saying is that there's no way I'd spec the Parking Plus *instead* of the Comfort Pack. If you want both then fine but if it's only one then it has to be the Comfort Pack.

Ohh I agree. I was just pointing out the option for the OP ;)
 
I've had a look at the configurator, and you are right. Comfort pack does make sense.

Changed order this afternoon. Comfort pack with Parking System Plus.
