Are you part of the events team for your region? It doesn't show up on my tapatalk.

If you are then just go into your nearest Audi and say look, I'm ant from ASN I'm events organiser, we have X amount of members in our region, would there be a possibility of some discount for our members, maybe even ask for a tour of their dealership if you haven't done so already to build a relationship with them.

If you aren't on the events team, ask the guy who is to go into Audi and say the above.

I organised the discount in both Belfast and Portadown. You just need to have the gift of the gab and put a good impression across :)

Ye i am one of two of the regional reps for AS may give that a try to be honest cheers mate

@BrennanTDi I want to get my Audi booked in for a full inspection mainly for an Audi stamp of approval on everything that has been done to my car, obviously because it is highly modified I'm abit cautious to go near them because they will either love me or hate me...How do you think they'd treat me and is there anyone you know at the service desk I could speak to regarding getting her checked?

An Audi is an Audi mate, they won't turn you away just because yours is a little different from the norm, in fact they will appreciate the business.

Call in to Belfast Audi, speak to Pat in the parts dep he is manager of parts. Mention that you are part of the Audi-sport.net club and he will look after you

Trust me its a bit different with air, having 5 out of 6 tyre places refuse to do an alignment for me! I will try that though and see how it goes, thanks

One thing that worried me with air was leaving it into somewhere for work, you could override it aslong as you've no leaks and have it constantly at a reasonable height, and allow them a standard height to work with... which by rights should be no different to a standard spring car, plus wouldn't want them sitting in the workshop (or any garage for that matter) airing it up and down having a laugh! burn out the compressor or anything, Or even a simple mistake with the likes of V2 and E-level that drop when you turn the car off, someone not thinking turns the car off and it airs out, while the lift arms is under it or something, simple mistake when your not used to it, But as aaron says call in and tell them you with audi sport etc, and about the air system how it works etc they should treat you like anyone else, maybe even possible to stay with the car if your waiting to help with the air side of things if they need it lifted etc, rather than them hoking at it and messing it up

Hahaha well thankfully its not that bad, I wouldn't be worried about them doing damage, the Airlift managment systems are practically indestructable and theres no such setting in existance to automatically air out for them reasons, its more them refusing to work on something vastly outside of the norm or not wanting to take responsibilty for something so diverse! But yes I'll probably have to set it on 'stupidly high nobody cares' stance and take the fuse out.

Christian, I'll be up at Belfast Audi tomorrow and I'll ask pat for you. Can't see it being an issue pal.

Just to let you know folks, Belfast Audi are currently running this offer until the end of the year.

mot_prep.jpg

The cam belt is one of the hardest-working parts of your engine and, if it fails, the damage can be costly to repair. Replacing it at the right time is vital to the smooth running of your Audi, so we recommend having this service performed by Audi experts as soon as it's due. When you have your cam belt changed by us (£449 inc VAT, on all models up to 2.0L), we'll also cover your car's future with a free MOT Prep every year for life. What's more, if you sell your Audi, the new owner will still be able to take advantage of this free MOT Prep offer. Which means the benefits of an Audi cam belt replacement really never end. It's all part of the Audi Difference.

Normally costing £49.99, the MOT Prep identifies any potential issues, it does not however cover any additional parts or labour required before your MOT test.

If you'd like to know more about this offer, just speak to a member of our Aftersales Team in Belfast on 028 90468919 or Portadown on 028 38396333.

T&Cs apply. Available on all Audi models up to 2.0L. £449 includes VAT. Excludes water pump replacement priced separately at £50.
