What's the best people have done for around this amount? Birthday next week so fancy something, not fussed if on or off road, whatever is best value, I.e. Not 1 lap in a Ferrari that you can't take past 3k revs...

I did a driving experience driving experience for £100 drove two laps in a Ferrari, lamborghini, and an Aston martin, also got a high speed lap in a vectra vxr was allowed to 7k revs :) was voucher from Argos!!

Supercar one sound similar to the one I went on, will enjoy it! Only thing I found was I could of done with the extra lap after 2 just want that 3rd to pass down the straight putting your foot down! Where I started was on the straight so 2 laps only got me one good straight, was very enjoyable either way! You can upgrade on the day as well for 10 £20 so might me good to take extra 50 just in case :) first one looked really good, I really want to do a rally one! Also they let you push but they said to change at 6k for me but can tell each person who takes you round what they are like my last go I knew straight away and changed at like 7k + lol corners they say to turn in 4th but last go I also took it down to 2nd he loved it I loved it and was nice day so Ferrari gripped like no other :)

I go to Thruxton mainly because it's not too far to get to but also its one of the faster tracks.

I had for Christmas last year the above experience which was pretty cheap. Drove a Gallardo and DB9.

What they don't tell you is when you get to the track (loads of places around the country) you can upgrade for £45 and drive a Mclaren 650s or R8 V10. I had 5 laps in both and that was really cheap as usually you can pay £400 odd and only get say three laps at other track days (after driving some ***** Focus ST).

£35 got you laps in a Nissan GTR......cheapest track day I've ever done. You can also lay to have on board video which is a nice touch.

The link I have given you for the experience days is actually provided by Everyman racing. http://www.everymanracing.co.uk

As you will see, pictures all the same and descriptions. I received 3 laps in each car. Then after I paid extra to drive the Mclaren and the R8, again for 3 laps each. The track I went to was the one near York (forget the name) where Richard Hammond crashed that jet car. Was a nice long track / course with a nice bit of runway!

Really good value.......I thought I would just rock up and it would be myself and say 20 people doing the track day just in the cars mentioned for the £99. But Everyman events work with approx 50 cars and then 200-300 people turning up. Obviously to keep the costs down but then it gives you to drive all sorts for not much £££!

On the day you can pay to do more laps so there is lots of choice on what you do etc. Can't recommend enough.

I did the Everyman one a few years ago, did a few laps in a Lambo Gallardo and a few in an R8, was a great day but over too quickly as they do let you give it some.

Have a look on Groupon as they have alot coming up there nowadays as well at some very decent prices...

There is a place in Brum (Wheels) where you can do a drifting experience, i think it was on there for 2hours at about £40, so you would even have some change left over after that too.

I am selling 3 laps of my local tesco carpark in an 2005 Audi A3 TDI, £15 normally but to audisport members I'd do a £12 special deal.
