Yes, I'm doing it for looks... It annoys me having huge brakes up front and piddly rear discs. VAG obviously sorted it out on later models and fitted 310mm discs! I need new discs and pads anyway so thought while I was there I'd make some improvements.
I looked into the 4 pot + electric handbrake caliper option but the adapters alone are $500 so not sure it's an option since I'd need to get the cayenne 4 pots($500 ish), handbrake calipers (£250-300) and some S3 discs. If it wasn't so pricey, I'd have done it but it seems like a waste of cash.
Then I found these adapters which use an OEM disc untouched (280x22mm (VW Golf 4 Audi A3 1.8 TDI 1.9) part no: 1JO 615 301 E):

This is not a massive size increase over OEM of course but would be a nice cheap upgrade. ECS do their 304(?)mm kit but it requires grinding to fit which doesn't sound great.
There was also a guy doing a 300mm kit but it required redrilling discs which would just be agro and asking for trouble. Anyone know of any other options?
P.S. Also noticed those guys make adapters to fit TTRS calipers to a Mk4 which would be a nice option with Mk4 R32 discs:
