Hi guys i have taken my mates y reg 1.8t for pennies... So using it to swap bits onto my s reg 1.8t agu... Ko3s defo getting swapped... Jus thinkn apart from interior what other parts are best to swap over? Will the maf be a straight swap? Are the inlet manifolds the same as one of my vacum outlets blocked?

What engine code is it? I am assuming its an AUM? AUM MAF won't work on the AGU... Inlet manifold will be small port vs your large port

Inlet will be small port so no use to you.
Lights front and rear will swap in and really help facelift the car.
The seats in the facelift will be a straight fit and are usually much better depending on which they are.
ko3S will go on obviously, and you'll need the TIP from it, or an after market one.
Depending on when in 98 yours was made you could have the older style gear linkage too. A swap to the newer one makes a considerable difference

Hi orawn and tuffty.... One more thing.. When u say the maf wont fit... Is it because of the different type plugs? Cant i rewire the aum maf plug onto my agu..
Its because ie swapped the ko3s over and the maf on the aum is literally new... Anyway of putting it onto my agu?

More questions for u audi a3 gurus 
1. Will aum injectors fit onto my agu as theyre better flow rate as im getting my car mapped to stage 2 spec?
2. Can the steering wheel be swapped over from facelift aum to agu?
3. Also anything else i could take of aum car befre i get rid of it.. Swapped the interior.. Turbo... Gear stick... Headlights (in progress) ...
