S3 Advanced Key - start stop button

Quick question. Should the red ring around the start stop button light up at any time?

Mine does. Only at night though when headlights are on.

Mmm. Start stop letters light up but not the ring. I have a similar spec to Scotty2011 and it does not light up at all. Will phone Audi to confirm.

agree, the letters in the middle light up but the outer ring doesn't even with the interior lighting pack, which I have on mine.
