Can anyone give me detailed intructions preferably with pictures on how to fit a new coolant temp sensor. My temp gauge isn't moving above 70 degrees. I've got an 2000 a4 1.8T quattro sport.
Thanks peeps
Can anyone point me to a good guide (preferably with pictures) for replacing front disks and pads on a 2000 A4 1.8T Quattro sport. Warning light has just come on so I need to get them changed. I've always done breaks myself on my old cars but this is my first Audi so want to get an overview...
I've noticed that my temp guage sits between 60 and 70 and never goes above 70 unless the car is left to idle for a while. The thermostat was replaced earlier in the year because the needle kept showing 90 degrees but then just dropping to 60. This doesn't happen anymore but wondered if anyone...
I've just been cleaning my car out when I noticed that the carpets on the passenger floor and under the seat and the rear carpets behind the passenger seat are soaking wet. Can anyone suggest where the wet could be getting in? I've checked all the window seals and they look good. Underneath the...
It was originally pulling around the 3000 mark but I can't say i'm noticing anything before or after that when in 3rd. The car pulls well in 1st and 2nd but i couldn't say for sure that it's due to the turbo kicking in.
I don't have Vagcom no. Is that the diagnostics software? I was messing round with the rear speaker wires from the amp last weekend and I blew the radio fuse. It seems to have started happening after this happened and wondered if I may have shorted something else in the process.
Is it possible for a turbo to not work in a particular gear. I've noticed that I don't seem to get as much pull in 3rd as i did. It feels very flat when I put my foot down. I have a 2000 1.8T Quattro.
Thanks
Can you give me more info on this Blau adapter please mate. I'd like to keep the stock head unit if possible but agree that the hi to low converter doesn't give the clearest sound. I have done a lot of research on this and thought the symphony head unit didn't have any pre-outs which is why I...
Is it easy enough to change the head unit? I was worried about changing it because I don't like the cheap look of the facia's which is why i went for wiring an amp into the stock speaker wire. I like the look of the symphony system and the fact that it's got a tape deck so I can listen to all my...
glad to hear they fit ok, I will get them this weekend.
I setup my sub at the weekend using the wiring from the rear speaker amp and a high to lo level converter as I wanted to keep the stock symphony head unit. I am going to be running the components off the same amp hopefully and wondered if I...
I was hoping to buy these components http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VIBE-SEK50-V3-Kevlar-270w-5-25-Components-Pro-Speakers_W0QQitemZ370194869233QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Audio_TV_Electronics_In_Car_Entertainment_GPS_Car_Speakers_PP?hash=item5631556bf1 for my 2000 A4 1.8T quattro but wondered if I could...
Thanks mate. I'm now looking at splicing into the existing amp wiring to connect a seperate amp to power a sub. Is it possible to do this but still power the rear speakers from the existing amp or could I then power the rear speakers from the new amp?
Any help greatly appreciated. I've been...
I understand the rear speakers are powered by a little amp. I wondered if it's possible to replace the rear speakers with aftermarket ones and have them powered off this amp?
