2.0 TFSI Known Oil Consumption problem - 2015 ongoing thread (2009-2011 models)

As with most of these stories it is worth reminding Audi UK that it is proven that this problem occurs in cars that have been fully maintained by Audi with correct oil and therefore on what basis would it be relevant that incorrect oil "may" have been used. They can't have their cake and eat it...

They changed it on mine without charge. I did have to ask for it though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Get back on to Audi UK re the servicing. If you go back to the early days of this thread there is a copy of the instructions that were sent to the dealers about how to handle this matter. Even if Audi UK can't find your reg on there they can always register it again Sent from my iPhone using...

Contact Audi UK and explain your concerns. Say you feel you are being held to ransoms. The Audi UK guidelines to this case clearly say that the customer must not feel that Audi or the dealers are profiteering in any way over this matter. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The thing I don't understand is - if cars with a full Audi service history fail and have used the correct oil, why are they worried about cars not using the correct oil? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I think I need to ring Audi UK. I did not get any free servicing. I can't work out whether that is something the dealer is giving or if it is coming from Audi UK

Jon Firsty be sure you have a car that has the potential to be fantastic. You just need to get it there. The evidence seems to be that since the BBC Watchdog programme, Audi have asked for far fewer people to pay for work to be done. In fact, be aware, it is the dealer that is the initial...

If you don't have a dipstick, then you will have an oil reading on your screen somewhere. If they have sent you in for an oil test, your engine is in the range that may have problems. Do the test, and if it fails, they will rebuild your engine (unless you have had it serviced by cowboys for...

I sense the free servicing thing comes from the dealer rather than Audi UK
