Forgive me for asking a question that's been asked (many times) previously. I'm still confused as to what is best... My 99V S3 needs new tyres and I don't know what to buy. I'm guessing that the most appropriate tyres will depend on the sort of driving I do and the price I'm prepared to pay...

I managed to reverse into a wall. Not very bizzare you might think, but I was in an Audi Courtesy car at the time which was fitted with parking-distance control !! Cost me £200 to get it repaired ! sidicks

I'm not sure what I did but it seems to have worked - something to do with BIOS settings - it seemed that somehow the hard drive was disabled, so I enabled it ! Anyway thanks for the help... I'm off to by a CDRW to back-up the PC in case this happens again - anyone recommend a good one ...

Latest news from my dealer (Audi dealer, not drug dealer)is 2005 for the Coupe. They have invited me to test drive the RS6 in a few weeks time, even though I cant afford one - may give me an idea of what the next RS4 will feel like?! sidicks

I think the key thing to remember is that <font color="red"> traction </font> and <font color="blue"> grip </font> are not the same thing. When accelerating, quattro helps, as by having 4-wheels being driven, you get more <font color="red">traction</font>. This is the advantage over 2-wheel...

Yes you're right, but the Aston Martin isn't out for 2 or 3 years. The facelifted 911 is due out soon, and I'm betting that there will probably be a £3k increase over the next 3 years. At the end of the day it's all guesswork, whether it's my guesses, your guesses or the magazines...

Looks great - I think Auto-express had the estimated price at £75k, though. Seems more realistic, as otherwise you get a Aston Martin that is cheaper than a 911 !! sidicks
