Can the crank on the starter motor deteriorate when the car is warm? just a bit funny that it starts first time when cold... Anybody know how much a start is (ball park)? Thanks

I've done a search, but all the threads i have found have people changing the same as me and ressolving the issue! would an air leak on the intake side cause this?

Vagcom doesn't throw any codes so Audi keep changing what seem to be the most expensive parts and hopeing for the best! It's costing me a fortune!

hi People, Car wont start when its warm, it will turn over but wont fire.... So far i have changed the below - EGR Fuel Pump Fuel Filter Coolant Temp Sensor anybody any ideas why this would be happening? when its cold it starts first time... Thanks in advance

Hi, Does anybody know how long a coilpack should last? My car has done 37K and i have just replaced 2, and now it looks like another 1 / maybe both have gone as i'm getting hesitation under load and the dreaded flashing emmissions light :crying: Car is a 2.0 Petrol Cheers

My car only seems to be on choke for about 15 seconds before the revs drop and the car idles at normal warm revs? Is this normal? i would have thought it should stay on choke (rev higher) until the engine is at least a little warm? James

I have the same problem and had my speed sensor replaced on friday, and what do you know....failed again today and left me stranded. Not goo to have spend £220 onf Friday at Audi to have the problem come back 2 days later:sob:

Mine does this also (2.0FSI), its had a new coolant temp sensor, fuel pump, speed sensor and its still doing it! if anybody find a fix for this please let me know, James
