Tbh coolant senders are common to need changing, ideally I'd open the reservoir over night, let it cool down, check the pipes to that sender if they're cold, then check the diag again for the temp value, if it's not corresponding to the pipe touch temp, then I'd be looking at the sender 1st.
Just refit the bolts with a blob of grease, then sealant over the top, so it still keeps the threads clean & no rusting as the Scottish roads can be unforgiving.
Tbh the main bubbling pic looks like paint, you need to scratch it as tbh mate it's not going to make any difference if it's paint as the whole wheel would be done anyway, so I'd see what happens when you try to dislodge.
Nice, but be careful displaying plate, location etc as being an RS, these are targeted, so always be in your feet so to speak, maybe blank plate detail, although bit late now, enjoy the car, great colour.
Lol fair point.
I'll be honest, doesn't look too bad, it's a hell of an engine, lovely power, I love the S5 sportback, it's stunning on the road.
Was it an Audi dealer service or indy?
Oh sorry I misread, not sure it looks really old tbh, it's not super dark.
Just do a change & maybe check it again in few months.
Assuming you're not having any engine issues.
Did they flash on lock before the issue?
If so then basically it's detected a door, bonnet or boot lock is not showing as closed.as thats why they stop flashing on lock, if coded to do so that is.
Does the rear wiper work, check wiper movement & the jet wash.
