looks like a great job and i want to say YES i love it!! dont get me wrong its subtle but with B pillars and spoiler, it will be too OTT IMO

B pillers and the odd lil bit, id personally leave the spoiler and mirrors

i prefer chicken tikka wraps personally but if we were all the same the world would be a boring place :)

took my door cards off. gonna do the tweeter surrounds and handle bittings. watch this space

I don't like the look, especially so much of it, but its a top job! It looks like its been done professionally.

I don't think Such a deep blue with cf works. Personally that is! Also think it is very easy to go overboard and do too much :)

thanks vtech, i have removed the wrap off the mirrors.. just dont like it. im not going to do the spoiler either.. the little bits look so much better. im gonna leave the outside for now i think, i will save some for my centre caps when i get my wheels ferbed.

JD, i wasnt sure if it would go with the blue if im honest, but when you see it in the flesh (so to speak) it looks really subtle and blends in nicely. As said i have removed the mirror wrap as it looked to much and a bit chavvy i think.

Westle.... i got so much of the sh!t i wanna use it. lol thats it for outside tho, just gonna do me interior now.

I think removing it was wise, as it would make the mirrors worth stealing to leave them like that. CCTV or not, it dont take long to rip a pari of mirrors off

Good shout on putting the mirrors back to stock.

I uhmed and ahhed over mine for a while and decided not to do it :)

But as I said in your other CF wrap...its soooo 3 weeks ago :)

im goin to attempt the handle/tweeter surround but not sure if the c.f will stretch enough to fill the recessed bit. make sure you get some pics up when uve done it mate!

NICE! will be doing this tomoro then, are the handles easy to remove without takin the door cards off as i cant be ***** to do that. once is enough lol.

you got to take the door cars off as there a 4 torx hidden behind the foam sound proofing. you will need to gently peal it off. They are also a mare to get off even with the torx out. i broke 2 clips on my drivers door but luckly it went back on ok. I did manage to to the tweeter surround too but could not get enough vinyl into the dip behind the handle. Looked shat and to "look what i stuck to my doors" if that makes sense.

good luck will look forward to the pics

heres the passenger door all done. :)

love it mate! i even liked the mirrors. i wanna get some now but i dunno if it would look as good.

Have you got a few handy tips for us?

Top tips are

1: Take your time
2: Measure twice...cut once
3: Use heat to apply it
4: Take your time

other than what tom said, i would advise this.

use meths tho clean what ever your wrapping and have clean hands.

Cut the vinyl about 1" to big round the edges (if you have curves to deal with). dont be scared to rip it off again if you dont get it right the 1st stick, it does not get really sticky until you heat it. once your happy with its position, cut it to within 10-15mm overlap. once heated its really stretchy. heat the edges then stretch it and stick to the under side of the item your wrapping. remove the heat but keep pressure on the part you want stuck. in about 2-3 second it will cool and be very stuck. Try to avoid reheating bits you have stuck as it becomes a bit of a mission and you will need about 4 pairs of hands to re stick it.

When you get to corners (90 deg meet of material) cut a little square, heat both bits and individually stuck the down. Remembering to stretch it round to the underside of what ever your wrapping. use the heat to stick it and keep holding it in place for a couple seconds after you remove the heat.

If your wrapping bits with switches in like the door handle thingys, try and heat and stretch the stuff into the gap without cutting it. As i already said twice, use the heat, gently manipulate it into the gap them remove the heat whislt holding the curve in place before moving your fingers off. it will kinda set in place. Now you can cut it as it will be sorta molded to the shape you want and your not going to have any gaps.

Flat surfaces like the centre console, use a bit of wet and dry and rough it up as it has some weird coating stuff on it. you also make sure it its smooth and removed any little "dinks" it may of found over its years. Cut the vinyl larger and use the sretch and wrap method again. When cutting out the gaps, remember to leave yours self enough to wrap in the holes (i.e radio hole CC buttons etc) stretch this in again and it will set into shape.

TAKE YOUR TIME! it took me about 45-60 mins to do my mates numberplate surrounds propperly, and about the same per door card. if your going to do your mirrors, good fking luck!!

Dude, you are a vinyl wrapping god....

I might get you to get some matte black off your mate for my roof and then let you loose on it! LOL.

thanks dude! im CF wrapping my mates roof on his Del sol so that will be fun! i would also be quite happy to wrap any other bits for anyone on here. just gimmi a shout, seems i have the nack for it and i deffo have the time atm! :)

Where abouts in the world are you dude (Well, where abouts in Kent)

You do seem to have got the knack of it.
I still haven't used my 100mm by 200mm piece yet, been wondering round the house trying to find something to stick it too as the only thing smaller enough on the car is the rear audi rings and they look like a biatch to do. Might end up doing them though.
I'm sooo tempted to buy a load n do my tool box, would need about 3 or 4 square meters I reckon.

looks good alpine
think you should give it afew coats of clear laquer just to finish it off
