Just wondering what products people use on here to get the best look out of there A4's. Cleaning, Polishing, Waxing etc.
Cheers,
James

The whole Autoglym range - especially:
Silicone spray seal for your alloys
Instant Tyre Dressing spray for tyres
Bodywork = Super Resin polish and Extra Gloss protection.

Tim.

Without doubt - Wonder Wheels and Exstreme Tyre Gel.

As for Shampoo i've been using Mer Super Advanced Shampoo - Happy with it.

Have a look at the detailing section - N8 knows his stuff on this :icon_thumright:

I use the Meguairs products. Gold class shampoo, alloy spray, gold class wax, metal polish (for exhaust), tyre gel and tyre sponge. Also use a Halfords sheepskin mitt (never use a sponge for obvious reasons).

For the interior I stick with the Audi Cockpit car, fabric conditioner and leather conditioner. I'm quite impressed by their fabric conditioner and it smells great!

Go over to the detailing section, they will give you good advice and will direct you to the better products. It depends how deep you want to get into it but I wouldn't splash out on autoglym or megs products yet. They are at the lower end of the cleaning scale really.

I'm another Meguiars fan - I never fail to be impressed with any of their products........

Used to be a BIG Auto Glym user but wouldn't ever go back now.

Yep, Megs stuff is great. Only problem is that they make several different products that do the same thing, can cause me a headache picking the right one.

I've looked at the detailing section and a lot of the products they recommend are Megs.

Still not sure about the claybar method, done this on previous cars but can't help thinking of the likelihood of scratching the paint....

Just want to say that --- Halfords is doing a 3 for the price of 2 promotion on all car care chemicals at the moment.
Makes things even cheaper than buying online.

Yeah, heres what i last bought from halfords lol

that must have set you back a bit dazmo... lol, my last trip to halfords cost me £80 in megs products... didnt get have as much as that though lol!

Depends on your budget. A good finish is down to the work you are willing to put in.

Meguiars products are very good and price is very reasonable. Same can be said for the Autoglym range of products.

My range of products are as follows:

Autobrite Brite Wheels,on my wheels. Haven't found anything to beat it.
Autobrite Standard Snow Foam Lance, on my Karcher filled with Super Snow Foam, and left to dwell.
Chemical Guys Maxi Suds II for washing with mitt (2 bucket wash)
Meguiars Deep Crystal Step 1 - Paint Cleaner followed by some Meguiars Deep Crystal Step 2 - Polish
Collinite 476s Super Doublecoat Wax.
Last Touch Detailing spray to finish.

This would be my standard for a good clean and lasting wax, but for a better finish I will choose from some of the following products:
Dodo Juice,Zymol, Jeffs Acrylic, depending on my mood.
