So I managed to snap the thin hose that goes to the intake manifold.

Now the revs are dipping like crazy when idling, before eventually settling. Is running with this hose open and not connected to anything likely to be the cause?

Can I just block it off for now?

Not ideal the car will be down on power and fueling will be on teh **** as the DV won't operate correctly.

Where can I pick some up from off the shelf?

I just popped some silicone hose in when I did mine. Think you can even get the stuff in Halfrauds these days

At the very least you need to block the pipe up at the manifold end, which will stop the air leak thats causing the crazyrevs.

Dont drive it hard either as the dumpvalve is basically disabled, and may leak.

You can get suitable vac hose from ebay.
