Right ive got a 59 reg S3 had it Revo remapped since December which everything has been fine till now!!, I dont think its just my mind playing games as for the last week or so it just seems to drive different.

The best way to explain it is when in 2nd around 2.5-3k revs it normally shoves me back right in my seat & you can really feel the boost come in quite agressive but over the last week or so it felt progressive all most standard like or like a N/A car

The turbo also flutters more like when you put your foot down in a low gear.

I put the switch back to stock yesterday & tbh in 1,2 & 3rd I really couldnt feel the difference & it just seemed to rev like a vtec & am sure the engine sounds a bit more ruff/grunty.

Sorry for all the above but am crappin em incase something has gone wrong & I dont want to tell Audi it has a remap but they would be able to see the evoms intake & forge dv.

Any Help Guys Please

you need to get it hooked up to vagcom mate, sounds like a limp mode problem?

My mate has vagcom but what measuring blocks do we need to log & what order?

Also when doing a run shall we run it in forth only? & from what revs or speed?

I would use advanced measuring blocks and check specified boost vs actual boost, CF's for each cylinder, Check your MAF sensor readings also. I always try to run my car in 4th gear to redline (on private roads of course :))
What settings have you been using on your Revo Select Switch?

Cheers Davie

Thanks I will show this to my mate with vagcom, what speed in 4th do you start the run? I have the settings which Prosport put on from revo which are 6,6,9 as I have Revo stage 1, Evoms Intake & Forge DV

Also to add to my first post, I was driving back from the gym the other night going up the hill & gave it some abit like I always do & the revs shot up about 500rpm which am sure it did twice. I thought it may have been the weather but it got me thinking twice about the clutch may have slipped so I put my foot down again up another hill & down two straights which nothing happend & hasnt done since then. Could the clutch be slipping on stage 1? surely not & would this effect boost coming in as aggressive?

i have a stock 59 plate, for the past week i have been experiencing something similar, the car seems to drive really well some days and on others the boost feels like its lacking, i originally put this down to me getting used to the car and that still may be the case but perhaps ill get a vagcom check on it aswell

be interesting to see what your results are!

Your revo settings are similar to what i ran when i was stage one, when logging i try and start from around 1500 - 2000rpm then stop around 7000rpm.
My clutch started slipping with stage one revo, it would usually happen around 3000 - 4000rpm but would stop doing it after it had slipped once or twice. After a few months of slipping it began to get worse and would slip constantly at 3000 - 4000rpm and occasionaly happened around 5500 - 6000rpm.

Is the diverter valve ok?

Cant see it being at fault as its a few months old, weve done some logs & it looks like the requested boost/actual boost is doing its job so would rule out the DV too

Did you clutch pedal become abit sloppy? seems like the bite aint as easy to feel through the pedal. "IF" mine did slip that day it only did it twice & hasnt done it since & IF it just aint my mind thats playing tricks the car hasnt seem to boost as hard & the pedal has felt sloppy since around the time the clutch felt like it slipped but it only shot up 500rpm. Might just keep watching it for now & drive it hard to provoke it & if it slips or goes ill get the uprated one & stage 2+ in one go

I wrote to forge & copied the thread to them which they wrote the below.

"It’s difficult for me to be sure with the car not here.... but some ECU tuners run more boost than others sometime they are nearly double standard boost?? Because of this the fuel pump cannot cope and they run lean and hot "

I Also did the same to revo which they wrote below.

"It sounds like a DV failure; I would remove and inspect it. If the DV is fine then I would suggest going to your dealer to get your vehicle logged"

If I just unscrewed the DV would I be able to see if its at fault? what would I look for? or if the requested boost is meeting the actual boost through VagCom does that rule the DV out anyway?

this sort of thing really worries me... i dont have a clue about all this vagcom business.. who knows what ill doooo...
