Hi everyone,..,i removed my battery to change my HID's,.,.,but now my windows seem to be on a different setting,,.,How do i get them back to how they were,,if you can help,,,Cheers,.,:blackrs4:

You're talking about the one click mode where the windows go up by themselves after u click once? Put the window all the way up and keep holding the button for around 5 seconds. Do the same on the other side. All done! :)

If it doesn't work after 5 seconds then hold for 10 seconds lol forgotten how long you have to hold the button for.

The procedure in the handbook is the lower the window right to the bottom with thw switch, then raise it all the way to the top again, release switch, then pull the switch for a further 5 secs when fully closed to have your one touch again. But it works just by simply pulling onto the switch with the windows closed for 5 secs. Guess Audi wanted to make sure your window can open and close fully before it's activated.

Was about to say, you don't need to fully open and close the windows first. Replaced my battery a week or so ago and did it just by holding the window switches up for 2-5 seconds. Easy :)

I know this is the wrong forum, but im having the same issue on my missus polo, the one touch works going upwards, but not downwards on the drivers side, on the passenger side it doesnt work either way.

Is it the same procedure??

I did try holding down and up, but no joy??

If it's working one way and not the other dude, the switch is knackered.

reviving an old thread here but I just replaced my xenon bulbs and forgot to reset the windows before a passenger decided to open theirs all the way which I didnt realise before switching off ignition, now I cant get it to go up at all by holding or one touch from either passenger or driver controls!!! any ideas anyone?

You only need to hold the buttons up for a around 5 secs or so... that is all thats needed to reinstate one touch...

Are you saying the window doesn't go up at all?

Tried both the passenger side switch and the drivers side switch?

<tuffty/>

It doesn't go up at all from either switch, when you press down to open you can here something clicking ticking so it seems mechanism/motor are ok and I had no troubles at all before removing the battery. I have tried the reset method as it is both pressing down and up for over 10 seconds but no luck?
