ok got a chance of some wheels with this identification number on them, can anyone tell for what model they will fit (it does state the model but im not so sure if its correct!)

number is as follows AA3 I 8E0601025 B 7JX16 H2 ET42

SO GUYS ARE THESE TO FIT AN A3? A4?? A6??

OR WILL THEY FIT ALL MODELS?

thanks lads

Offset is fine. But the wheel size is tiny(16"), to small for a B6 A4

Plenty of B6's came with 16" wheels as standard!

The prefix 8E0 usually refers to the B6 model range.

So if your B6 has 16's as standard why do you require a second set of 16's

because they have brand new tyres on them, that i can swap over, but if they are to fit an a4, then i dont have to swap tyres over, as the alloys are in good cond, but slightly different.

I just wanted someone in the know to confirm if the alloys were or were not for an a4.

It was only (some?) Sports that came with 17's as standard I think - I believe some of the boggo models even had 15's!

The early A3's with the 8L chassis won't fit as I think they are 4 stud, but the later 8P chassis should be ok.

If they are off a A3 they will bolt on but the offset will be wrong.

Think the A3 is ET54 and the B6 is ET45 so spacer will be needed to get the correct offset or they will look poo:)

Have just seen the car they came off, he put 18s on his so I bought them and checked on the wheel, genuine audi and et is 42 , all 5 alloys with all 5 tyres 7mm on them< still have the knobbley bits on em! bargain ! £150 :w00t:

doc - starndard A4-B6 "Sport" came with 16" ET54 alloys!!

ET45 is for the S4's (and I'm sure it's no co-incidence that's this is when the A4's start looking respectable too :) )

My sport came with 5 arm 17s et45:shrug:

Lostbook
I've got a 2001 1.8T quattro sport, I'ts still wearing it's original (standard) wheels and they are 7x16 ET42.

Paul - the 2001-2002 Sport's came with 16's on ET54, later on (mid 2002-early 2003, just before the S-Lines), they started doing 17's on the ET45 offset....
But mine is a 2001 sport on 5 arm 17s avant if it makes a difference .

Yes Paul they'll be 7.5x17 ET45. If they were available as an option in 2001 I don't know, I just wanted to point out that lostbok was very wrong about the offset on the 16" wheels.

theres seems to be no particulars to this thou
audi and there options list strikes again :)
