Has anyone bought or seen the latest LED style headlights now being advertised on ebay, just wondered what the quality and brightness is like of the LEDs. Look good in photos but at £300 they would need to be nice as its an expensive mod if they look naff. Lets have your feedback and thoughts good or bad have a look http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...0371144584&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK:MEWAX:IT

Yeah saw them a while ago, there is a uk seller on ebay uk that sells them and they are around £250-300, i know this because i almost bought some off her but changed my mind as i wasnt sure of the quality/fit etc

They seem to be the only type available atm, but I'm unsure as to how they are.

I would buy a pair, if the LED line followed the bottom, instead of sweeping up in that arc.

They look ok but I guess your not going to know about the quality until you get some! I think the arc of the LED's looks good but it's some gamble to take for that kind of money without seeing them in the flesh first.....

I've also wondered about them. I'm sure someone on these boards fitted them to their car, was it droppedaudi?

I reckon they would be quite good, can someone please buy some who is very wealthy and wont mind losing any money if there not any good, that way we will first hand intel.

Where ar ehte tow brits who won £45,000,000 last night, anyone on here lol

Yeah I think it was.

I'm not a fan of the led strips though on any Audi, they look tacky.

here you go, i knew id seen someone on here had done it.
heres a pic, ill post up a link to his thread.

They look smart! Much better than the tw*ts I see with just the led strips brought from eBay and stuck on. There is a few of them round my way.

These would look tidy on my car. Saving for my K04 though

I was waiting for these, but got bored and didnt like the look of them when they came out, the sweep up is too soon and the square full beam doesnt fit with the rest of the shape of the car for my liking...

I went for the FK halo ones instead as they look far more OEM and at some point when I stop messing with the other track car the lights will be out and split with a string of DRL leds run along the bottom to finish them off, with the side light rings disabled.

but I will say get them from german Ebay not the uk one, mine were £40 cheaper inc postage from german ebay vs the cost on uk ebay etc, and they arrived in 3 days via DHL

I found this on ebay.... is it any good?

It's probably the same person that was selling them before but with a rating based on 5 transactions, I would say to stay clear for now.

Don't they drive on the right in Germany so have you had to modify the headlights to comply with UK requirements?

they are lhd / rhd... flip a leaver and the sheild that makes the beam pattern twist round and the rhd sheild comes in to play, nice and easy plus they are fully E marked.

It will make my trip to europe next year a doddle... 15 mins on the ferry and I have LHD lamps, bonus!

oh and its the proper Z beam pattern like all OEM xenon lamps, and being a projector lens if you do with to run illegal after market HIDs then you wont get a messed up beam pattern as with reflex reflector normal halogen lamps, which is a bonus.

Hi Guys,

M7R - car looks great with the halo lights. Just wondering if it was a tough job to install them?? Have been looking at the FK Automotive site and wondering whether to go with the chrome or black version.

hard part is the bumper has to come off, and thats not a 2 min job but its do able at home if you take your time. there is a guide on here some where im sure how to do it.

Captian - they are the same as the black ones in post 1, just from another shop thats all.. in my view they just dont fit with the shape of the car and lok very tacky.

Hi droppedaudia4

New to this - Happy New Year to you and all! Posted a similar link on the wrong part of a forum and directed here.

I love the modifications you have completed especially the LED headlights. Where did you purchase them from, how much etc as I would love to upgrade the factory-fitted ones that are currently on my A4, 2Ltr, TDI, S-Line, Avant (56 plate).

Are there any other decent LED headlights on the market and would be compatable with my A4? Lazy Eye / DRLs etc?

Any info would be appreciated including tips on fitting etc. I think I read through this link about removing the bumber - I bet that's fun! Have you got the zenon bulbs as well?

Regards,

Guy.
