And now I can understand why my car was running at 249.1 BHP it was because this :( I fixed the pipe for now but I think I need new one.

I also change the setup of the BOV before it was atmosphere and I changed it back to recirculate :)

Glad you got that sorted out, now you can really go to town on power.

An essential base for more power is a healthy engine.

Those vac pipes are quite cheap from audi. 5m roles just make sure you get the right diameter!

glad you found that pipe mate, not good for the engine having it like that.

are they bailey DV's then? supposed you had them to sound like a cossie lol TSSSSHHHHHH!!!!!!

sorry mate no diss to the cossie i love them, it was an example of that noise i could think of lol

respect to the cossie:respekt:

will the s4 ever become a legend like the cossie has do you think? after all they're miles better albeit 10years later but more discreet

the B5 S4 has a respect in its own, cossie turned the world of tuning upside down and was the first car i heard of as a boy that had a pressence like it did, im audi all day and will always stick to them as i dont like fords but when it comes to the cosworth you have to give praise to that YB engine for its potential for wot it is

Probably not unfortunately, the s4 will always live in the shadow of the m3 :(

ill happily live in the shadow of an M3, just how i like it..........sleeper style with no wing vents, huge wheels to give my car away. if someone offered me the choice of an M3 or a escort cossie id go cossie all day, have you seen the prices on these cars these days.................15k for a 20yr old car:ohmy::ohmy:

im biased though

15k and up for the rare as rocking horse p** m3 evo sport, 2.5 version.

Respect to them both i say. The original badboys, the scooby and evo of their day.

But lets not forget the quattro turbo

The rolling road operator didn't pick up on this? Or was it just a quickie power-run?

Yeap it was sounded TSSSSHHHHHH!!!!! :hubbahubba: and I am missing it now :(

Yea it was a quickie power-run but they should have checked these before they done the run

By the way anyone can tell me how much power could engine loss due to this pipe  just figure :)

The 80's e30 m3 is the only one i like and a legend, my first car was a blatent copy of one only a 320i but had all the body panels i bought it for £500 in 1996 when i passed my test and nearly wiped it out countless times, i appreciate the newer m3's just dont like them very much and would never have one unless it was stupidly cheap.its mad to have a faster "normal" car now than the legendary ones you dreamed about as a kid like the RS500 it only had 220bhp and would be left for dead these days

i agree with the posts of yours i tend to be seeing. im after an s4, i considered an m3 for about 5 minutes but decided i couldnt live with "the image". theyre becoming pretty chav round here.

being an essex boy i could never turn down a cossie though, ive got a lot of respect for those.
