Hi all i think when i last waxed/polished the car i must have put one othe bottles, or cloths, touching the windscreen, now when it rains it smears alot,

I tried to clean my windscreen with mr muscle, window stuff, it just makes the windscreen worse like im spreading it, it looks almost oily,

Is there anything i can buy that might take it all off? thanks Oski

i use that rain x stuff that makes the water bead and run off without the wipers on its a good cleaner too

Autosmart Tardis, or any other decent tar & glue remover for that matter, will do the trick perfectly. Also, a simple wipedown with Methylated Spirits on a cotton cloth will also do the job very well. If you use the former wash and rinse the glass first, and rinse again afterwards. If you use the latter, wash and dry the glass first, then rewash afterwards. :sm4:

Definately! I did exactly the same and it cleaned mine off. Also clean your wipers with the same stuff too.

don't use glass polish on the windscreen, it will make the entire screen smeared. Check the instructions.

I always clean my windscreen with this stuff. Put it on, wait for it to dry, then buff it off, never caused me any problems.

Windscreen cleaned with Autoglym glass polish on saturday, it's done nothing but lash down with rain all day, not a smear or a smudge in sight
