Light Question

Hi Guys,

Just a quick question, i've just ordered an A3 black edition with auto lights and wipers and was wondering if i leave the lights on auto, when i unlock the car will the xenons and DRL's automatically come on, or is it something that is programmed into the key fob???

There is small switch on the lighting switch panel which will activate this function. If you leave the switch on permanently the system is only activated when it's dark.

It works as a 'coming home' function which lights up the area around the car when the ignition has been switched off and the drivers door is opened and a 'leaving home' function which lights up the area around the car when it is unlocked by the remote.

The function can be set to operate for a time interval between 5 and 60 seconds using a menu in the Drivers Information System

Wonder if this function will be the same on my S4 (on order) do any lights other than Xenons and DRL's come on with this feature ?
