Red Leather Recaros

Just spotted this whilst doing my occasional browse of the S3 section of pistonheads.

Never seen an S3 with Red Recaros before, re-trim???

Think they look a bit gash to be fair, but certainly different.

I don't think it's a re-trim, I know of one other car with the same colour combination, it was owned by a dealer who has a couple of S3's from time to time, pretty sure it was a special factory order. That particular car has been for sale for a while though, I was looking back in March and remembering seeing it on Autotrader.

Possibly.....I know some audi's share very similar seats....Could be from an RS6 for example.

think with the correct colour car the red leather would be lush, that combo works well imo

Quite like it, think itd suit my black s3, bet to buy now it would cost a bomb and be solid to find.

Doubt it, the door inserts and cubby-hole doors are trimmed in red leather, as are the rear seats.

Must have either been re-trimmed or just a very rare (and expensive id imagine) factory special order.

It would have to be a factory option or retrim as I'm pretty sure rs6 and the like have there model embossed on the seats, I quite like it though it's alot nicer than the red interiored TT's

Its a special order, obviously not many people went for it.

It would look amazing on the right colour car.

ive seen it in the flesh and it looks seriously cool! the akoya silver and red go together like you would not believe. its deffo not a re trim, he is asking a bit much tho! he was not budging on price either so i got on my toes and left

Was going to say, it would look great in a Red, black or Avus Silver S3, more so the Avus though, saw an RS4 with this combination a while ago and it looked awesome!!
