Hello,

I have a 2004 S-Line 8P TDi and I am after some red ambient lighting for the interior. On my old Golf Mk4 I had a W8 light which was great. Is there such a thing for the A3?

I want preferably OEM solution but failing that I will add my own LED's.

Has it been done? Can't find any guides or part no's etc.

Thanks
Joe

Cheers!

Exactly what I was after. I have the light without map lights, will it still work? It has sunroof control but looks identical to that one bar the map reading lights.

Is there anyway of telling or do I have to pull it down and look.

Thanks
Joe

Also, anyone got a photo install guide for this? Or will i know where the connections go once i have the kit from Audi

pull it down and have a look, but im sure it will fit, mine only has the main interior light and i fitted the ambient leds no probs!

pm me your email addy and i will send you step by step instructions for fitting this mod, with pictures.

I have a full, detailed set of pdf instructions for this if anyone wants it but to be honest its very straightforward. Just plug and go.

Thanks Andy for your pm.

I'm looking at doing this on my A3 Cabriolet but the light cover is very different to the normal A3. Has any one got the illumination pack on their A3 Cabriolet and if so would you mind posting a pic of it please.

Well i picked up the light pack from Audi yesterday, and only one of the LED's would work (i think it had blown) so gota swap it again on tuesday. But.. when i pulled the top light pack down, mine has the fitting for the LED module, but not the 2 circular bits you have to drill through
