Hello all
I recently had a turbo conversion done to my s3.
Unfortunately the car has now blown up in just over a year of use.
What makes it even more confusing is that when it was sent to an independant mechanic they strangely noticed that the pistons had been dented by the exhaust valves, however the exhaust valves were in absolutley perfect condition?
Has anyone else had any strange problems with their car. Please reply to this add if anything good or bad has happened with your car and your experiences with the garage.
some of you guys are clearly on the back foot about this add, i never meant you to get so defensive. my profile pic will now show two pics of my engine when it was taken apart, can anyone ANYONE please tell me HOW the pistons are scarred but the valves are perfect, this is what it looked like when we opened up the engine up, (except we cleaned some of the carbon off the piston so you can see the scarring better)! any ideas people?
sorry you'll have to go ont the TT forum and see my post user: omgmys3 title: backwoft cont
anyone please shed some light here, i am not looking for an answer why my car blew up but how the pistons are scarred and valves are perfect???? i bought the car from new btw
