Need a new Gear-knob!

Guys,

Need a new knob... lol.

Ive got a MOMO Team wheel fitted was thinking maybe a Momo Knob to match that?

Dont want nothing too chavy! Id go for a TT one but they're arnt as straight forward to fit.

Any ideas?

Ive just purchased a gear knob from ebay.
The seller is from Greece and was priced at £35.

Its the newer shape gearknob with gaiter and looking forward getting it installed.

But upon reading in the forums some people seemed to have issues with the gaiter not being long enough.

Will take photos this weekend and let you know I get along.

Does anybody know for defo if it will fit on my A3?

Would love to get a new one on, I been giving the leather some treatment but still not up to scratch on my current one. Just dont want to get it in case it does not fit. Also, are they easy to fit?

if yo've got the piano black trim Jase, I'd say go for the first one with the shiney black top, it'll set it off nicely!

I've finally sold that beamer too, So I'll get the audi back soon, then we must meet up!

You have to be careful about which one you do go for as the push down mechanism on the audi 8l gear linkage has to leave enough room so it can engage the the metal plate, to select reverse gear.. some gear knobs either too short or too small to fit on this.. be sure you can take it back before you buy anything.

Ive got one of these for sale Brand new in box £30 posted Its 5 speed. I bought on and the mrs bought me one as a suprise so I Fitted my one yesterday with no probs. Also have the guide here for anyone that wants it.

I personally prefer the OEM ones. I bought one last night from that link.... not to sure how to fit it, dont know if it will fit but I can but hope

Ive recieved it yesterday thanks fella.

Can anyone advise on how to fix the new metal securing ring. The instructions show a tool but i wondered if anyone has gotten by with some other tool as i dont fancy purchasing one.

Or does anyone know where i can buy one?
