Hi all..

I was wondering how different the boot lids are on the A3 and A3 Sportback..

I preffer the 2 door A3, but prefer the Sport Backs rear lights in the boot lid..

Has anyone tried a transplant..

Not actually possible it is. Even if the rears were the same which they're not, you'd have to change both wings as the lights wrap around.
If you really prefer the slot shaped lights, wait for the facelift to be released and do the conversion then with 3 door facelift parts. Personally i think the facelift rear end looks a bit saggy compared to the current light design.

I agree, looks like Audi have just ripped them off the A5 and slapped em on

P.S... Bumper would have to go as well. So basically for the sake of prefering the sport back rear lights your replacing literally half the car! Thats a pricey modification!
