Hi all,
I am the happy owner of a Facelift A3 Saloon. The car is full S-LINE (except for the suspension which is Sport). 2.0 TFSI manual 190HP. After trying S3 Saloon Springs+Shocks, the car is much more stiffer than with the stock Sport Suspension but it hasn't lowered at all. I assume that the main reason is the weight. The S3 weights around 160-180 Kg more than mine right?
S3 is 1545Kg
Mine is 1365Kg
I have two options right now:
1.- Purchase the springs at the dealer (around 450 GBP/500 Euro) and keep the S3 Shocks.
2.- Purchase 1500km used A3 TDI 184HP by just 120 Euro and keep the S3 Shocks.
Option 1 is much more expensive than option 2 but will definitely lower the car as I want to. Option 2..well that may be a little bit risky as the 184HP TDI Saloon weights around 30 kg more... Any thoughts on that?
Many thanks guys!
