PCV delete w/o catch can for now - all ok?

When i delete the pcv i have to block off the nipple under inlet manifold. For this nipple im talking about.
You can use any of those nipples. Pick a nipple any nipple is ok.

It's just maybe the size of the hose might not fit for the DV nipple

I deleted pcv and vent it to atmos. But sometimes there is a lot of smoke coming from the pipe that it's venting, so i'm thinking to connect it back to hockey puck without catch can. Or just connect the pipe to the TIP without the hockey puck?
Is there going to be any problem. I guess i will have to clear my TB more recently.

I have same issues mate been wanting to catch can my bam but I'm confused as to connect which hose to which and what to blank off.
Currently I have a t piece and 2 90 degree bends but silicone hose idiots have not sent the 2 metre hose I ordered in 2 pieces that would b ok but the isnide diameterof 1 is bigger so my 90 degree bends just pop off loose..
Really want to do the install as I have high oil consumption at the minute so wanted to eliminate afew things on the way lol..
Let us know how you get on

The hose that is popping of your 90 degree bend can you not put a small jubilee clip in it. The hockey puck I did away with and vented to atmosphere and blocked of the tip where the hose with the hockey puck would attach to. If I get a chance later I'll take a couple of pictures and post them up.

Or maybe try wrapping some plumbers PTFE tape round the 90 degree bend to build up the circumference to make it a tighter fit?

It really shouldn't have enough pressure to blow the pipe off, are you sure there's not a reducer somewhere after? The only time I had a pipe pop off is when I tried to vent to atmosphere before a catch can with a little filter which got gummed up in about 10 minutes and split.

Going forward I've ordered a 19mm hose with the same Inside diameter so hopefully they wount send me the wrong one again.
Pictures would be great mate as I'm clueless..
Bam engine on reading seems easy to catch can but not for me it's like crystal maze..thanks matey

Morning mate plumbers tape hey I didn't think of that I have been trying to shut silicone hose pieces to narrow the diameter but that was a quick and easy fail lol
I've ordered a 19mm hose so back to missions with catch can when the hose arrives..
Thanks for your input matey

Quick update for anyone new browsing this thread and a warning. I did the PCV mod to replace the leaking oem kit on my BAM. Went the route of single pipe from mani to brake servo. Fitted a pipe with check valve from mani to t-peice, crank breather to t-piece, t-piece to cam cover breather, then to hockey puck to TIP.
Worked fine until my first sprint event. Sprung an oil leak from the dipstick that had been popped out. Turns out the metal check valve between the mani and Tpeice failed allowing full boost into the PCV - at the event I was full pelt round a track and on boost a lot. I checked it before fitting, so either a dud or its not rated for the boost pressure. Can't see many check valves with pressure ratings on Amazon.

I've now followed Tuffty and blanked the mani and going from crank to cam to hockey puck to TIP with no catch can.
