So here's GOLDEN/PRECIOUS information for ALL A4 owners, especially those of the hands-on variety...

In my post-box yesterday morning was a link to the AUDI RS3 SPORTBACK, but following that I found this:

Hi yer Princess Sandra

sorry to dampen your enthusiasm with the little nugget of information but a word of warning as an owner of a B6 cab 05 plate with a B7 interior I have seen upgrade mods on line to the centre console, from the one fitted to my car to the last one with the 2 cup holders before the B7 became the seat exeo

partsbase.org pictures show the centre console picture's from 05 as exactly the same to 12 plate exeo so why didn't they upgrade the information for each model it could be the same part numbers are the used I'am currently working on this (with the help of some of the lads at Taunton Audi) but also some of the numbers on the pictures are different

hope this helps I could be making a stupid mistake and not realised it so if you could shed any light on this lol

I want to know about the 3 A4 air vents in the centre could you ask you other learned friends was the 3 round air vents only fitted to convertiable I only ask because I've see 06 and 07 Saloon's and Advants with the 3 round vents but also with the long square vents did it depend on the model ?????

There is a better reasonably up to date (claims to have been updated 2014) elsewhere that works for at least Audi and VW - I can't find it at the moment, but will add it when I'm back home!

the round vents were only fitted to the cab

but some people retrofit the saloon or avant dash to the cab and have the square vents.

Has any one on here ever changed the headlights on there se a4 b8 to the xenon led headlights out of the sline. Is this possible or has anyone done this

yes I have its very easy

you need the loom and vcds coding

and maybe a ECM to work the high beam some need it some don't

Is it expensive for the looms and vcds coding.? Plus did you have any trouble with mot of the car as some people have advised me that you need to install washer jets into the bumper

loom is £50 ish vcds I do myself but a local member with vcds will help you out for beer tokens

and you do really need washers etc etc but I don't have a problem with MOT.
