I currently have a set of S line 18" 8.5 j ET 43 on my car.
got a chance of another set but the ET is 47
Will they fit ok & will they stick out more or not as far?

They're going to sit further in. You might have clearance issues with front brake calipers.

Managed to borrow one of the wheels this morning & Jeff your correct, they won't fit by quit a lot.
