diesel catch can?

Morning ya' ll,

Was having a chat with the lads last might about simple tdi mods,and the mention of a tdi catch can makes a vast intake improvement, now I have heard this about petrol turbo cars but never a tdi, it looks like this thing Darkside Developments - M&H ProVent 200 Oil Catch Can / Breather System
Anyone tried it and had good results?

I can see why it's better to burn clean air. But I can also see why its beneficial to mildly oil the cool side of the turbo.

Well with a catch tank, you stop oil vapour going into the turbo, inlet, intercooler.
So with a catch tank you burn cleaner air. But there's less oil on the turbine on the cool side of the turbo.

Get ya now, dont think i will be bothering, aint ever caused me a problem with anyother TDI's i have had !!
