Now I think I may have mentioned this somewhere on here before, but I cant seem to find the thread, so hoping this will get a good response,
I want to use my iPhone with the car, as in use voice dialling and all the stuff you can do hands free, Now I have an old Motorola hand set built into the armrest of the car, but it wont read my sim cards ( or anyone else's for that matter) and I cant use it,
so I saw this on ebay.

and would like to know if it will work if I replace mine with one????
please help me folks, as I have no idea of what I am doing here......... if it did work , what would I be able to di with it,eg voice dial ect???

Do I still need this if I have Bluetooth. Coz I was messing with the phone settings
And something came up on the mmi about Bluetooth ?

Pic? And yes you need to change the module under the carpet under the passenger seat.

Motorola module will not work with handsfree!!

Ok, I'll stick some pics of the Bluetooth thingy on my mmi
The set up I have and stuff, sounds like I should get a sim and just use that for the car

The bluetooth is for the Motorola handset only, and it's propriety so will NOT work on standard bluetooth mobile phones. Only way to get bluetooth on your car is to swap out the module.

:sadlike: arrr, I was hoping there would be a simpler option . sound a little expensive all this swapping about, maybe I should look into getting a pay as you go sim and sticking it in the motor,

If you know what you are doing then you can buy the modules for under £100 but you have to be comfortable in changing/rewiring the plug going into the telephone module.

You'll not find too many MOST BT modules for under £100!

Been getting them for years at around £100, you just have to wait for them to appear also my local breaks get them and they have no idea what they are selling, I just picked up an autodimming rear view mirror for my A4 for £8...
