Looking to potentially buy this but I don't have my A3 yet... Would this fit the 8v key?

We bought one of these a year or so ago so that it was always easy to distinguish the key for my A3 from the one for my wife's A1. The trouble was it was OK to start with but after a couple of months it because loose and kept falling of. Personally I thing they are a waste of money. Nice idea that doesn't really work.

I looked at one of these, amongst other things whilst I was waiting for my car. The genuine Audi ones are around £30, but you can find replica ones on ebay for around £10.

Has anyone seen one of the genuine audi ones? I just wondered as they are leather aren't they? I'm tempted by one as they actually look quite nice

My two S3 keys...

Had a red Audi one of these. Looked nice but added a little bulk to the key. First time I dropped it one of the clips that hold it on broke as it's a brittle plastic mold covered in leather. Once fitted it also limits the thickness of your key ring as it makes the gap smaller. Would not bother to be honest. Nice idea but costs a little too much and breaks real easy.

eBay ones are prolly the same but a little thiner as they don't have the leather.
