Hi, i'm looking to get another A4 B7 but this time a 2.0tdi 170.

At the moment I have a 2.0 tdi 140

I've looked around but can't find a accurate valuation for the car i'm looking at.

It's a 57 reg Audi A4 2.0 tdi 170 Saloon manual S Line
54k
bose, DIS, Satnav, armrest, split fold rears, and all the other usual refinements.

5 months tax and 1 year mot with full audi service history except the last service by a specialist.

I'ts up for £8495, I want to know do you guys think thats a good price? Im hoping to give £8k max

I've looked on places like auto trader but the B7's vary from anything from £4k upto £12k!

Any information or advice is grateful thanks

With that milage and spec it seems like a fairly well priced car....if anything quite cheap tbh

Im toying at selling mine, being the "Black" Edition SE im valuing it at about 9k....mines done 90k........ so it makes that one a good buy with low milage.

Make sure the injector and wiring harness recall has been done on it...

Why not go for 3.0 TDI more robust and powerful too for that price you maybe able to source one...as thinking of parting with mine soon....

I'm looking for a 3.0 tdi mate you could sent me the specs on yours.

I wouldn't mind one but I have to think about fuel costs, running costs and insurance as i'm only 22 lol

A 2.0 170 is around £850 for the year, were as a 3.0tdi is £1200!
I want to do a few mods tho so once done it should be the same as the 3.0

Will it not cost more than the £350 difference in insurance to get the 2.0 170 to have the same power and torque as a 3.0? And mods might increase insurance if you declare them lol :)

My 170 avant special edition cost me 8k with the full dis and RNSE nav etc. lots of miles though at 130k

I think if you pay 8 for this one it's a good deal tbh
