Hi guys!

I would like a little help or advice on what everyone uses on their exterior glass currently I use ag glass polish is there anything better out there!

Many thanks James.

I use AG glass polish. Never had any problems and it seems well respected. I'm not sure there is anything better. Have you had a problem with it or did you just fancy a change?

Cheers wolf I do that on the inside which is good cheers.

Erm I just fancied a bit if a changed and sorted wasn't sure weather that was the best etc lol

Is there anything I can get scratches out of glass as I have small lines where looks like a mini stone or something has rubbed between wiper and glass!!

Cheers for the quick replies guys.

When i was in the window business we used to remove scratches with jewellers rouge,it was many years ago so there maybe some better modern polish.

You could try some 'Jewelers Rouge' to polish them out.

Dunno about the scratches but I use Garnet Transparency Window Polish. Very good stuff and leaves no streaks :)

Okey dokey cheers guys ill look it up as I'm not to sure what jewellers rouge is!

Cheers Robbie what's that like how long does that roughly last on the windscreen went wet and wiping roughly.

I last applied it 3 weeks ago m8, drove in heavy rain on Friday and it was still repelling the rain slightly on the windscreen.
I use it on every window inside and out as well, very impressed but it isn't as cheap as some but I feel u get what u pay for :)
I normally add rain x on top of it on the windscreen when I can be bothered :)

Oh rite I see I tend to try and stay away from rain x as its a ****** to get off and use to smear a bit!

I don't mind paying for something if its decent I might have to give that stuff ago. Where did u get it too?

Try angel wax vision for cleaning your windows found it really easy to do and use h2go for rain repellant. They both work great and you will get them from Brodster.

RainX man here, I usually clean and dry the windows, then apply 2 coats of RainX going round the car twice, then leave it to dry for 10-15 minutes, it will be hazy. Then I wash the whole car as normal, and the lambswool mitt will remove the excess residue, and watch the water bead off when rinsing.

Jewellers rouge is a very fine compound for removing scratches from jewelry glass but as our friend above said we use it in the glass trade for removing or polishing out scratches from glass . Rain x is the king I hate ****** using the wipers . I have this stuff on every bit of glass on the car van and the visor on my helmet . I really need to have good vision when it peeing down on the bike .
