Stage 1 map

Morning all. I have owned my s3 for a merely 4 weeks and today i am taking it to r tech to have a stage 1 map installed! I don't rally want to go down the induction kit route again purely for the noise, so I have put in a pipercross panel filter and have a full tank of v power! Stage 1 reaches just north of 300BHP doesn't it?

Should be around 310-320bhp

Don't be too concerned with absolute figures as opposed to how it drives.

When I had mine remapped to Stg1 it felt like a new car....much more usable,and a decent bit quicker,but be warned,it's a slippery slope!

I'm booked in for a stage 1 at R Tech the week after next and can't wait, especially if I get similar gains! Let us know how the drive home goes and hope you enjoy it.

Very enjoyable! Being a 4wd it is very smooth where as you would think a fwd mapped at the same power will feel quicker. Very pleased with the overall result and got a feeling it's not gonna stay at stage 1 forever?!
