Front foglight surrounds, any ideas?

In this picture is a car in the US and the owner says he's changed the front foglight surrounds. I have tried contacting him but no joy as it was on old post.

Does anyone know what they are and if they are avaialbe in the UK?

Hmmmmm, as far as I remember there's a user on audizine with them, he's called oldguy I think? I'll try find a post of his to confirm.

Hmmmmm, I looked and his appear different. They're not my favourite to be honest, well especially the ones on his car. I prefer the ones you linked to....but I have no info on them, sorry!

Found some like crazy88 mentioned, they're just covers rather than surrounds though. Chances are OP is custom made, fiberglass is dirt cheap, if you don't fancy a go with it someone else will make a set up (plus labour though).

They look wrong mate, why do you like them ? In my oppinion the factory GMBH/Votex kit looks the best, dare i say even better than the s4 kit !

What do they look like and would those inserts fit an S4 bumper?

Votex grilles won't fit an S4 bumper, you'd need to replace the front bumper, and I'm not sure if a Votex kit would fit over an S4 bumper?

Cheers for the link James, not a fan of the Votex kit, always looked like it never fitted properly and certainly wouldn't want it fitted to an S4.

I was just curious if the ones in the pic I posted were easily available as they would have been nice to try. I think the S4 looks just right with maybe a Cupra splitter fitted but I am not totally convinced of that option just yet either.

I'm similar on the cupra splitter. I do like them, but I'd personally not choose to have one on mine, even the big standard se bumper. That, and the fact it's too low already seals the deal.

If it was me, I'd stick with oem, I think it's the best look. Just get some yellow fogs

I agree, the S4 front is hard to beat. Unless you're going to fill and blend in a Votex kit (which looks stunning) I'd stick with the S4 personally.

Re the splitters, I think they add something to a standard front, but less so on any of the others. I have seen them used to good effect, but it's very vehicle specific.
