So, I finally collected my new 1.8tfsi SB yesterday from my local dealer. All my concerns just perished when I seen the car ready for delivery. The ripple turned out to be a normal stone chip protection. It was a great feeling driving the car off from the dealer.

Driving to work brought a pleasure I have not felt in 7 years!

The lag on the throttle is noticeable though as I am only driving in the efficiency mode for now.

Didn't have much time to admire the car and check it out properly. Took the day off tomorrow to spend some good quality time with it and take some pics to share with the forum.

Woop Woop how exciting for you have you tries dynamic at all to see if the lag goes? Apart from that how are you finding the 1.8?

I am taking it easy for now only have about 60km's on the clock, I have had the urge to press but I am trying to compose myself for the next coupler 100kms. Im sure the lag wont be as bad in dynamic though.

Alright, so I couldn't contain myself any longer and I just had to feel the power.

Opened her up twice, and she gives a lurvlee thrill!

Its no s3 but moving from a 77kw to 132kw is a huge difference!
