Had a quick search, but as there are a number of topics I can't seem to find the area I'm looking for...

Just wondered if there was a section which detailed the standard specs of each car (ie. engine code, chassis code, basic equipment etc)?

Just so that I refer the right models/numbers when posting :o.k:

U mean like a brochure of A3's or something from past to present?
If this is the case have a search in google if found a few on there.
If not this then what u after as that's a very open ended question lol :)

It could be I guess. It's an odd one really, as I don't know my engine code, I posted in the wrong section cos I didn't know the chassis number, don't know what's standard and what's optional - the list goes on  !!

Have a look in your Audi Service Schedule book, its the book with your service records in. Inside the front cover there is a sticker with all the Car spec. option codes, engine code etc. chassis code is the top line. Engine code is the 5th. line down. The same sticker is also in the the boot under the carpet by the spare wheel well.
