Anyone with VCDS in Glasgow/Cumbernauld need help :-)

Hi all,

Just picked up a 2006 Audi A4 2.0 TDI 2006 BRE engine code. I have a couple of issues and would really appreciate some help.

One of my keys had a flat battery changed this but it will not lock or unlock doors using the buttons. THey key works fine and starts the car and I have tried the various rescynching procedures to no avail

Also when I collect my Iphone 4s to the bluetooth I get no sound through the speakers people can here me talking but I can't hear them. My phonebook syncs ok and I can search for names and it will dial just no sound.

I would really appreciate any help or if someone has VCDS could they check for me?

Thanks for the quick reply. Bad news is I'm a migrant (English lol) but have been up here 13 years not had a VAG group car for a while but am enjoying it so far. I have PM'd Gaz hopefully he can help. I can't make this month as I'm away with the family in Portugal but will come along next month.

Migrant you say, lol. I have added you onto our list steve. If you go to the Scotland link i left on post 2, you will see members list, have a look, the vcds cable holders are in red beside the members names, there are a few others in Glasgow area if you need them. x

Remove the pairing, cycle ignition with key out & re-pair the handset, see if its a glitch.

Is the iphone on the latest IOS, has it been Jailbroken?

Just tried that it syncs fine phonebook has resynched too? I'm on OS 6.1.3 not jail broken people can hear me just no sound from the speakers. Change audio source to phone and works fine?? I'm baffled

I'll try later just in case it's an iphone glitch although the speech function on the car does not work either?

Unless the speech system has been enabled, then it wont work.

Still haven't found anybody with VCDS that can help I'm in Cumbernauld but am willing to travel if someone can help. I can live with the phone but the keys annoying me in case I break the other one. Anybody out there willing to help?

Thanks anyway Mark I work in the trade but most people I know who have it are down south. Whereabouts in Cumbernauld. I'm on the Kilsyth backroad just after blackwood roundabout.

Im 40 mins away from you. Had several customers come over from Cumbernauld for remaps and VCDS tweaks. Turn off the Abington Junction on the M74 and Im 15 minutes down that road. If you need assistance then let me know.
