New owner, many questions...

Hi guys,

ive owned my S3 8l for a few months now and am looking at upgrades. The previous owner had a 2 stage REVO remap which boosted the car to 287 BHP (dyno'd in July 2012). 2 things I considering is a new exhaust system and the forge front mount intercooler. I'm in now way a mechanic, I just enjoy driving. A list of Pros and Cons on both items would be a great help. Cheers guys

Ah ok, thanks for the help. I hav heard that it stretches the engine and gearbox to its limits a bit. But for every story I've heard I've heard 2 that say it doesn't lol. What sort of power gains did you get? And did you update anything else after it was fitted?

FMIC's help lower AIT's. not really a power gain but more consistent lower temps going in. When my cooler was fitted, I felt like the car had more torque! But that's because I probably had a million leaks lol
