I took the wrap off from the coolant lid and washer fluid lid it didnt look good but the rest worked well i think

Looks neat, unlike the guy who put blue carpet as his engine bay cover

Slice: thanks mate and The blue carpet in the engine bay is dangerous you could get carpet burn whilst checking oil level LOL,
NHN: everyones entitled to there own opinion

It will lift. I wrapped some bits in the past and didn't last. Best getting it carbon dipped.

forgot to mention i did it over a year ago its still stuck down perfectly

doesnt the heat in the engine bay bother it?
at first i thought it would as well but nothing has peeled off or even shown signs of peeling off i was looking at it today as i checked the oil etc it looks as good as it did the day i wrapped it, i would recommend wrapping your bays its cheaper than having it sprayed plus you can get wraps in pretty much any colour, and i did it all my self its easy all you need is scalpel for precision and a halogen home heater to heat the wrap

I might look into this but not in black carbon... Going to see what is out there.
mate there are thousands of colours i just bought a roll from ebay its fiddly but well worth the change it brings to the bay

Could that not be a possible fire hazard....most vinyl starts ( 3M etc ) to go around +95c.

A

Mate if it was an issue it would be on fire right now lol i drive it everywhere

I like the section within the main engine cover, nicely done. Less keen on the rest as it has more obvious edges that don't quite look finished, and you've got the weave going in different directions. Good effort though :)
