HELP REMOVING SPEED LIMITER ON 2007 ASTRA VAN

Per title, i have a buddy with an aftemarket one fitted to his van, not a ECU limiter. Any suggestions as to where the box is and is it a simple case of unplugging ?

Hi, its usually hidden in the dash somewhere difficult to get too so would start by getting your head under the dash with a torch
