Hey Guys,

Does anyone know if you can get replacement switches fort the FBMFSW on the S3? I have one which the black vinyl coating (or what ever the coating is) coming off! its only small at the moment but as its right under your nose its annoying!

I thought these were meant to be quality cars! this along with the drivers door lock not working is really pretty poor as these are things that you should just not have to worry about!

Thanks

Yes you can buy replacement modules, not individual buttons.

You dont happen to know the part number/price and how to change them do you?

Remove airbag, remove chrome guide ring they sit in, very very carefully & slowly from area, prise it up from all sides so it eventually pops out of its locating lug/holes in wheel as the ring is expensive by itself, make sure to unplug any looms & its a little pita but they pop out from behind with some leverage.

Audi only sell as a pair for approx £210 8J0951527 5PR

I can check my supplier if cheaper.

Hey you didnt buy a Nissan Sunny lol, even a poxy Toyota costs near 20k these days for a decent spec, so its not vag thats esxpensive all the time, also understand the resources needed for all these parts are becoming expensive just because of human greed, if we want fancy things, we have to accept there maybe fancy prices.

Try & find a used set or someone who has a broken part which has the bits you need.

Its the left scroll button, I only noticed it the other day! Could this be because of something I used on it? I use poorboys cleaner, the blue stuff.

I need to have a look tomorrow, I have a really bad feeling that I binned a load of bits the other week to make room for my solar PV installation and the mFSW buttons may have been in with it.
