I bought a 2004 s3 replica with s3 leather seats but the seats are not connected, need to know what i need to do to get the heated seats to work??

Is the climate control a heated seat version, has it got the roller dials from 0-6 for the heated seats part?
You need a climate control unit with the heated switches and also the loom. Its plug and play as far as ive been told. Im yet to do it, need to source the right control unit as i bought the wrong one.. Theres a size difference between double din and single din control units, i need to source a double din one, so ive got a single din spare if its any good to you?
As both the guys said above, you need the heater control on the climate unit. If you get that, and the loom to connect the seats to the controls, then you should be able to.

Looking at the white patches on the climate button the OP could do with a new climate unit anyway!
This may sound stupid but are all leather seats hated but some arent set up? Ie with the controle unit and loom?
No, if your car didn't come out the factory with heated seats then you dont have the elements in the seats nor the loom.
You have to source the heated seats, loom and control unit (correct one for your vehicle)

Of course.. DOH! Sorry, its late for me. You've got a double DIN, so you need one that fits in a double DIN centre console, as they are slightly smaller. As i found out the hard way.. So when you try sourcing one double check from the seller its the double DIN one, way to tell is the sides are flush on a double DIN, and on a single DIN they aren't as the sides come out a bit further.

Brilliant thanks mate, now i jst got to make sure my seats are actually heated seats, did u see my ebay link? Can u tell if that is the right double din one i need or will i hav to ask the seller?
If they're heated seats then you will have a plug on both front seats not being used. I did yes, can't tell by the photo I'm afraid and doesn't say in the listing either, so you'll have to ask the seller, or check with someone on here that is a guru at part numbers, they will also be able to tell you the part number of the control unit you will need.
