What should i look out for? any common faults? what are these like on fuel? says its been remapped to 270, are these cars quick? thort they would be very heavy? :/ cheers

Sorry about being a bit of a negative nelly here, but i can't get my head round the fact that you've bought a car that you haven't test driven, have no idea if that car has any inherent faults, you have no idea on it's MPG and you've not even checked the cars performance figures or weight.
Again sorry for being a bit negative, but you should have checked all those things out BEFORE you bought the car.

Tax band K so 148.50 for 6 months and 270 for 12.
Fun cars but thirsty on fuel with about 29 mpg if conservative!

If.u want a.fast car expect a Fuel bill

My previous car was a mk4 VW Golf R32 - which is essentially the same as an Audi A3 3.2 V6, so hopefully my post in the thread below is helpful.

I wish I could get 29mpg out of mine but that noise and then you have the voice in my head. So I see on average 20mpg and on a bad day I would see about 25mpg if I'm lucky.

If you use higher octane fuel like V-Power, Ultimate or Momentum you'll get better mpg. I can get 32/33 on a long run without too much trouble. Whether that remains the case when I swap out the exhaust is a different matter *lol*
I also commute to work on my pushbike when I can, so fuel isn't so much of an issue thankfully

I have a heavy right foot, and mine does around 200 to 250 miles a tank, I do town driving only, i rarely see over 20mpg but the best I've had on a long run is 32, i use momentum 99 but I don't notice any amazing gains over shell 98 etc.
It sounds great though and its fun to drive, wish i got an auto though!

If you are worried about mpg then the V6 isn't for you.
There have been reported cases of the timing chains snapping on these engines - mainly on the R32 forum so beware of that otherwise enjoy the V6 noise!
Here is some info on the chains - I changed them on our R32 a while back.
