What do you pay insurance wise?

2005 A3 2.0t quattro sportback no mods 6yrs ncb
Honestly have no idea how much i paid last october think it was around the £800 mark fully comp 12k per year me and wife i was 24 so was she, £250excess plus a voluntary excess of £250 also all the young lads will have compulsary and voluntary excess to pay!!! Also car is garaged at home am parked in a locked carpark during day!
My postcode is classed as E on the risk scale but the actual local crime statistics state my area as being pretty good when it comes to car crime really baffles me it really does
 
2.0T 25year old,no points,no claims, £480 a year admiral multi car policy,8 years NCB,£150 excess (group D on the postcode lottery)
 
27 - 170 tdi, 10 yrs no claims, £250 excess inc voluntary - £330/10k a year, B grade post code
 
S3 Sportback S-Tronic 2010, inner-city (but nice), 11 years no-claims, 8k miles p/a - £390.

jesus and i thought i was been robbed, my12 3 door a3 sline 1.2 fully comp 4 years no claims 21 year old (nearly) both parents insured £800 with admiral multicar

my postcode is classed as A, suprisingly my nans is an E class where she lives not far from town and its in a little estate at the top of a cul-de-sac
 
Just literally paid for my insurance. £508 with Admiral. 23 years old, '04 2.0 TDi Sport, 6 years no claims, £500 excess (£250 vol. £250 comp.), up to 6k miles, 1 named driver. B post code.
 
No wonder my quotes are *****! LOL, mine comes in at a D. mmmmm
 
Just renewed with Greenlight and swapped cars, was £650 for a stage 2+ S3, 27, 9 points on license, max no claims, went up to £848 with a stock TTRS

I am 30 with 5 years no claims, on the S3 I was paying £700 but that didn't last long as I traded it in for a new RS3 and wait for it.... I now pay £620 on that!

Yes, the RS3 is cheaper to insure than the S3!

Did I read somewhere that's cos the RS3 is a new car, with no crash history for insurers to go off. And they base the premium off cars of comparable cost\prestige\whatever and at the moment it's coming out as an insurance bargain!
 
Suspect so, there's hardly any around so there's less to get crash statistics to go by, remember getting insurance on a Noble M12 was cheaper than my old A3 2.0T because of lack of stats… just a shame about the service costs ;)

38 years old full no claims 420 quid fully comp s3 :thumbsup:
 
think i am better off than most of you :p i am 20 years old with 0 ncb and i pay around £500 year, one of the perks of owning your own business!

however i am not gonna say how much my evo costs to insure !!
