The new S3 has been officially revealed, what do 8L owners think and want from it?

Beautifully shot video, but comes across very tame. Sounds nice at times, but there's so little drama for what's meant to be an aggressive sporty machine. Disappointing IMHO.

audi have never been about drama, its always refined performance, a balance of comfort and style and grunt.

Has to be said, that's one boring video! 3:14 - I can't believe it! Another car that tells me what gear I'm in on the DIS. What's the point of that? Especially if it has a DSG box. Why oh why....? At 4 minutes I turned it off and went to make a Horlicks for some excitement.

Looks good BUT I dont like the crease that runs along the side of the car, the same crease that is on the 8P model. it just doesnt sit right with me. 8p grill and lights with 8l body is where its at for me.

Tripp - mixing up bits from one generation to the next just isn't right! Putting an 8P grille on an 8L is like a well aged mother wearing her daughter's skirt! It's just not right. And as for any 8V to 8L transplants - well, that's skipping across 2 generations! No way!

External body features I agree with you on e.g Grill....but interior features such as the Gear knob, Flat bottom steering wheel and those B-E-A-utiful bucket seats retro fitted in an 8L is not something I would ever turn down
